The project “EU Financial Integration for SMEs under the Capital Markets Union: Policies, Resilience, Sustainability and Digital Transformation”
The Jean Monnet Module “EU Financial Integration for SMEs under the Capital Markets Union: Policies, Resilience, Sustainability and Digital Transformation” (DRIFT-SME) aims to enhance teaching, research and public awareness of EU financial policies relevant to small and medium-sized enterprises. The Module focuses on the Capital Markets Union, sustainable finance, financial resilience and digital transformation as key pillars of the EU’s economic and financial integration agenda/
The 3 tailor-made courses planned within the project for use by all participants in their professional lives will be implemented for 3 years for students of KhNUE. It includes:
- «EU Financial Integration and the Capital Markets Union: Opportunities for SMEs»;
- «Sustainable Finance and Risk Governance for SMEs in the European Union»;
- «Financial Resilience and Digital Finance for SMEs: EU Policies and Financial Instruments».
The project contributes to solving the following strategic development goals of KhNUE:
- formation of effective scientific pedagogical staff,
- ensuring the quality of development and implementation of educational programs at the international level standards,
- integration into European and world scientific and educational space.
The following strategic development goals of Kharkiv region until 2027: integration of higher education into the European space, promotion the internationalization of enterprises in the digital space. The achievement of the project’s goals will combine the key directions of the development of Ukraine’s financial system and contribute to increasing the level of financial security based on digitalization. The project’s objectives are in the line with the program Erasmus+ and regional priorities for the Ukrainian region, namely addressing digital transformation through the harnessing of the potential of digital technologies for teaching and learning and developing digital skills for all and also participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement by increasing awareness and understanding of the context of the European Union.
